ETIOPATHOGENESIS IN RETINAL VASCULITIS
SSK Ankara Hastanesi II. Göz Kliniği
Vasculitis is characterized by the inflammation and necrosis of the retinal and choroidal vessels. The antibodies of the retinal antigens (especially S antigen that find in the outer segments of the retina) and immuncomplexs are increased in vasculitis. Autoimmune mechanisms are the most important factors in SLE, PAN, Goodpasture sendrome, Sarcoidosis and HLA B27 diseases. It is considered that antiretinal autoimmune antigens and circulating immunocomplexs are due to idiopathic retinal vasculitis.*TOD Ankara Şubesi' nin 25.3.1994 tarihli mini panelinde tebliğ edilmiştir.
