In a 15 year-old female with oculocutaneous albinism, multiple cross-sectional scans of fovea was performed using specral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT). SD-OCT scans were unable to detect the foveal pit. A widespread thickening of the retina occured throughout the entire fovea with no difference from the surrounding macula. Foveal thickness was 330 μ in this eye. Foveal hypoplasia is demostrated with SD-OCT in patients with oculocutaneous albinism. Keywords : Albinism, optical coherence tomography, foveal hypop
