This study aimed to evaluate optical coherence tomography (OCT) and fundus autofluorescence imaging findings in patients with serous macular detachment due to optic disc pit, a congenital anomaly of the optic disc. Clinical, OCT and fundus autofluorescence imaging findings of two patients (3 eyes) with optic disc pit maculopathy were evaluated. Bilaminar structure consisted of retinoschisis and serous macular detachment and which is diagnostic for optic disc pit maculopathy, has been shown in optical coherence tomography imaging of all cases. In one of the cases, hyperautofluorescent precipitates which were not visible in colour fundus images were observed in fundus autofluorescence imaging. In remaining two cases, clinically visible precipitates were also detected in fundus autofluorescence imaging. In optic disc pit associated serous macular detachment yellow-white subretinal infiltrates may accumulate. Even though these infiltrates may not always be shown with colour fundus images, they may easily be detected with fundus autofluorescence imaging. On the other hand, optical coherence tomography is very helpful in demonstrating anatomical structure which is disrupted. Keywords : Optic disc pit, fundus autofluorescence, optical coherence tomography
