We described a case who presented with neurosensorial retinal detachment in one eye and retinal pigment epithelial detachment in the other eye after using adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH). Ophthalmological examination revealed a best corrected visual acuity of counting fingers at 4 meters in the right eye and 0.9 in the left eye. Fundus evaluation revealed large serous elevation in the right eye and well circumscribed small serous elevation temporal to the fovea in the left eye. Patient was examined by fluorescein angiography and optical coherence tomography (OCT) during follow-up. Adrenocorticotropic hormone stimulates the adrenal cortex and adrenal cortex stimulates the secretion of corticosteroids. Corticosteroids which is secreted by adrenal glands can damage the retinal pigment epithelial barrier and predispose to serous retinal or retinal pigment epithelial detachment. Keywords : Adrenocorticotropic hormone, optical coherence tomography, retinal detachment
