A previously healthy 36 weeks pregnant woman with decreased vision in the left eye was referred to our clinic. Her full ophthalmologic examination revealed elevation at the left macula and optical coherence tomographic examination confirmed cetral serous chorioretinopathy. Three months after the labor the symptoms and the clinical findings resolved spontaneously without a clinical intervention. In her anamnesis, it is ascertained that pregnancy was induced by in vitro fertilization (IVF). In our case we wanted to emphasize that IVF induced pregnancy may put more emotional stress and aggravate central serous chorioretinopathy. Keywords : Central serous chorioretinopathy, pregnancy, in vitro fertilization
