Spontaneous Closure of Idiopathic Full-Thickness Macular Holes

Spontaneous closure of idiopathic full-thickness macular hole and a restoration of the normal foveal contour is very rare in full-thickness macular holes (stages 2-4). We evaluated the short-term anatomic features as assessed by spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) in three patients with spontaneously closed full-thickness macular hole (stage 2).
