Nd: YAG Laser Posterior Hyaloidotomy in Preretinal Hemorrhage with Valsalva Retinopathy

Valsalva retinopathy, occurs following valsalva maneuver, causes rise in intraoculer venous pressure and retinal capilleries rupture with closure of glottis suddenly.It is one of the reasons preretinal hemorrhage.Although it is usually unilateral, but can be seen bilateral. In this study, we evaluated the results of patient with valsalva retinopathy, due to severe cough who was treated with Neodymium:Yttrium Aluminum-Garnet (Nd:YAG) laser posterior hyaloidotomy.
