İ.Ü. Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fak. Göz Hast. ABD Fundus Fluorescein Angiography (FFA) and indocyanine Green Angiography (ICGA) by using Topcon IMAGENET H 1024 Digital Imaging System were performed in twenty-two (22) eyes of eleven (11) patients with central serous chorioretinopathy to evaluate the pathological changes occuring in the choroid. In eleven eyes with central serous chorioretinopathy, we detected focus or foci appearing in the early phase and enlarging at the late phase of the ICGA which were in accordance with the pigment epithelial defects seen in the FFA. In addition to that, hyperfluorescent areas that are independent from pigment epithelial defects were evident in the late phase of ICGA and were probably a sign of choroidal hyperpermeabilit were seen in six eyes.
Hyperfluorescent areas in the late phase of the ICGA were detected in eight of the fellow eyes with sequela of central serous chorioretinopathy.
Keywords : Indocyanine green angiography, central serous chorioretinopathy
