Fırat Üniv. Tıp Fak. Göz Hast AD Most of the ocular circulation come along the choroidea. To have an idea about choroidal blood flow, flow rates of posterior ciliary arteries (PCA) and vortex veins were measured in 44 eyes of 22 healthy volunteers. PCA blood flows were 16.2±4 cm/sn at maximum and 4.97±1.8 cm/sn at minimum, vortex vein blood flows were 10.93±3.56 cm/sn at maximum, and 9.49±3.4 cm/sn at minimum . Compared with the central retinal artery blood flow, flow rates in PCA's were significantly higher. A venous pulsation has been observed in vortex vein flow. Velocity curve in spectral analsis mode, color images of PCA's and vortex veins were taken. Keywords : Color Doppler Imaging, Posterior Ciliary Artery, Venae Vorticosae
