The medical records of 68 patients with a diagnosis of optic disc drusen (ODD) were reviewed and 19 patients (8 male, 11 female) with complications related to ODD or associated ocular or systemic clinical conditions were included in the study. The patients ranged in age from 7-68 years with a mean age of 37.4 years. The associated disorders were anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (AION), retinitis pigmentosa (RP), high myopia, central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO), branch retinal artery occlusion, peripapillary haemorrhage, subretinal neovascular membrane (SRNVM), macular hole, choroidal nevus, pseudexfoliation glaucoma, acute anterior uveitis, Crouzon syndrome, intracranial meningioma, diabetes mellitus (DM) and juveniler heumatoid arthritis (JRA). It is concluded that vascular events such as AION, CRAO, SRNVM and peripapillary haemorrhage can be seen in eyes associated with ODD without other systemic risk factors but other clinical conditions such as RP, high myopia, JRA, DM and meningioma are coincidental associations of ODD. Keywords : Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy, Central Retinal Artery Occlusion, Optic Disc Drusen, Retinal Haemorrhage, Retinitis Pigmentosa
