Case Report: We described two patients with high myopia who presented with subretinal hemorrhages 2 and 3 days after being treated by laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK). No hemorrhage was related to pre-existing choroidal neovascularization and lacquer cracks. The hemorrhages resolved spontaneously within 4 to 3 weeks, respectively. The occurence of subretinal hemorrhage short after LASIK in myopic eyes without previous choroidal neovascularization and lacquer cracks strengthens the argument for a causeeffect relationship. Choroidal neovascularization did not developed during 3 years follow-up. Keywords : Subretinal hemorrhage, laser in-situ keratomileusis, high myopia, choroidal neovascularization.
