Four eyes of four patients with choroidal neovascularization (CNV) secondary to central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) documented by fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) received photodynamic therapy (PDT) according to the parameters outlined in the ‘Treatment of Age-Related Macular Degeneration with Photodynamic Therapy’ (TAP) study. Patients were observed for six months to three years. Three PDT sessions were performed on one eye. All other eyes received only one PDT. Examinations included visual acuity measurement (ETDRS), fundus biomicroscopy and FFA. Visual acuity improved 2 to 6 lines in three eyes and did not change in one eye. In all eyes, stoppage of the leakage was noted as compared to the pre-PDT FFA. Keywords : Chorioretinopathy, choroidal neovascularization, photodynamic therapy.
