Vasoproliferative Tumor of the Retina

Vasoproliferative tumor of the retina (VPTR) is a very rare benign tumor of unkown origin. The aim of the case report is to describe unilateral VPTR associated intraretinal exudation with who was successfully treated with cryotherapy. The correct diagnosis of VPTR is of importance as these lesions may lead to visual loss that can be prevented with appropriate treatment. Regression of tumor thickness and associated retinal exudative changes can be achieved with cryotherapy. Keywords : Vasoproliferative tumor of the retina, cryotherapy
