Medical treatment of retinal vein occlusions has changed dramatically in recent years, which followed a course first started with intraocular steroid injections and then enriched with intraocular Anti-VEGF (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor) injections. Anti-VEGF therapy has become the first line treatment option for macular edema secondary to retinal vein occlusions with its long-term efficacy and reliability. In this review the use of 3 Anti-VEGF agents (bevacizumab, ranibizumab and aflibercept) in branch retinal vein occlusion, which are commonly used in retina daily practice, will be summarized in light of the current literature. Keywords : Branch retinal vein occlusion, macular edema, anti-VEGF therapy
